As if anyone should have to ask. Area Man decides to live like Mel Gibson in that lame CIA-gone-bad thriller with Julia Roberts. ‘Gunkanjima’ (trns: Battleship Island) is a tiny island off the coast of Nagasaki, populated by the Japanese in 1890 after coal was discovered there. They got up to 5000 people on only 1km of surface area, making it the most densely populated square km in the world at the time (1959 - I wonder who holds that record now?)….teh mine busted in 1974, and was abandoned, the website has English, and the Gallery titled Gunkanjima - Views of an Abandoned Island is very cool, maybe a bit spooky, this would, imho, be the all-time greatest location shoot for a horror movie of all time ever ![]()
surprised the Ju-On guys haven’t made this happen yet….

The big johns look like something you could use. It’s the toilet of the future…about time we started making this world more weight-friendly. I wonder if you can sue your landlord for not having them installed.
